Bhekumusa Lukhele
Bhekumusa Lukhele is the Executive Director at Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation Eswatini. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Health, and a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from Kyoto University -Japan. He has over eight years of successful experience in Public Health, Research, Academia, and Management. Bhekumusa has authored peer-reviewed scientific publications both as the principal investigator as well as a co-investigator, noteworthy among his publications is a randomized controlled trial on using serious games to advance health in Eswatini. He has won several excellence research awards. Among others, Bhekumusa programatic, coordination, and leadership experience in organizations such as The AIDS Information and Support Center, The Swaziland National AIDS Program (SNAP) as the national pediatrics antiretroviral focus person and the Institute for Health Measurement Southern Africa as the Technical Director and Country Director. He is a strong believer in excellence and bringing people together to discover creative ways to solve the complex problems faced by our society.
