Collins Musia is a project manager at the Research Center Borstel, Leibniz Lung Center, Germany.
He received his European Master degree in Public Health from the Hamburg University of applied sciences, Germany.
As a microbiologist, he has profound experience in implementating and evaluating new rapid multi-drug resistance TB diagnostics, prevention and control of TB/HIV, sleeping sickness, malaria in high burden settings and in program management.
He has worked for Medecines Sans Frontieres, Partners In Health and Foundation Innovative New Diagnostics in various public health care programs in Haiti, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Eswatini, Tanzania, Nigeria, Liberia, Ethiopia and South Sudan.
His primary research interests are in innovative rapid MDR-TB diagnostics and biomarker studies.
